Victory over the farmers' blockades ---- Against the attack of the state 
and capital, exploitation, impoverishment, exaction and state repression 
- Solidarity is our weapon ---- Recently, farmers have been escalating 
their struggle for life and dignity. Thousands of farmers and livestock 
breeders are gathering at roadblocks throughout the country, blocking 
national roads, ports and airports with tractors, clashing with the 
forces of repression, questioning the state policy of impoverishment and 
exploitation of them. Despite the attempt to slander them by the media 
and the government's false promises of subsidies for the sector, the 
rural world firmly declares that it will not take a single step back!
The goal of power has always been the accumulation and management of 
capital for the benefit of the few. Thus, in the agricultural sector, 
the goal is to concentrate and manage land in the hands of a few. The 
result of the EU's Common Agricultural Policy is the takeover of small 
and medium-sized farmers and livestock breeders by local and 
international capital. In this way, while production costs are 
constantly increasing, incomes are ultimately decreasing, since small 
and medium-sized farmers cannot withstand competition and depend on 
large chains that act as intermediaries. As the country now imports 
rather than exports agricultural products, prices end up increasing 
sharply, agricultural cooperatives are dissolved and crops and the 
countryside are abandoned. Added
to all of the above are the enormous disasters caused by floods, which 
dramatically worsened the situation in the countryside. Destruction of 
lands and crops, minimal to non-existent compensation, increased 
production costs, reductions in subsidies. At the same time, with regard 
to livestock, the smallpox disease and the failure to combat it led to 
the extermination of entire herds.
Finally, the OPEKEPE scandal came to reveal the "beneficiaries" of the 
chronic subsidies on the backs of small and medium-sized farmers. 
Government representatives, big business landowners, local bosses of the 
province are the main protagonists of the scandal, who, with the cover 
of the state mechanism, plunder and seize public resources. Obviously, 
this scandal and the attempt to cover it up, is not an isolated 
incident, but a cog in an organized plan. The plan of the state and 
capital, which aims to exploit the social base and exacerbate class 
contradictions, which sacrifices everything on the altar of profit, 
which ardently tries to develop its profitability.
Farmers and livestock farmers have been facing this reality for decades 
now. However, their current determination opens up new horizons for 
their demands. For this reason, the state is deploying the mechanism of 
repression with arrests, sticks, chemicals and criminal records to 
confront them, without any result, as the blockades increase and become 
massive. The attack on agriculture and livestock farming is an attack on 
the entire society, as the escalating precision of products and the 
further impoverishment of us all concern us.
At the same time, the connection of the farmers' struggles with other 
struggles for life and dignity, for the defense of education, health, 
social goods, against state and capitalist barbarity, is the only real 
way out.

We stand in solidarity with the struggle of farmers and livestock breeders.
